Italian Wine Atlas does not collect personal data to identify you. The app's content works entirely offline and needs no account or sign-in. The only time it uses the internet is to process the optional subscription and to restore purchases.
Italian Wine Atlas is an offline reference guide to Italy's wine denominations, grape varieties, and food pairings, created by a wine educator. The app is operated by the publisher of italianwineatlas.com. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at info@winehunter.studio.
None. The app does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. We do not create user profiles and we have no way to identify you.
To make the app useful, some of your choices are saved locally on your device only — for example your saved (favourite) wines, any tasting notes you write, and your progress in the "Wine of the day" feature. This information never leaves your device, is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is removed if you delete the app.
The full atlas can be unlocked with an optional annual subscription. Payments are handled entirely by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google) — we never see or store your card details. To process the purchase, restore it on a new device, and check whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and the purchase/receipt information from the store; it does not receive your name or email from us. See Apple's, Google's and RevenueCat's own privacy policies for how they handle payment data.
Apart from the subscription and restore actions described above, the app runs fully offline — all wine content is built in. It contains no analytics or tracking tools and shows no advertising. We do not profile you or track your activity.
We do not sell or share personal data. The only information leaving the app is the purchase data needed to run the subscription, handled by Apple/Google and RevenueCat as described above.
Italian Wine Atlas is an educational reference about wine and is intended for adults of legal drinking age (rated 17+ on the App Store / suitable for adults on Google Play). It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
Since no personal data is collected or held by us, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of the information stored locally on your device and can clear it at any time by deleting the app.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy — for example if optional online features are added in the future — we will update this page before those changes take effect and revise the effective date above. Any future data collection would be optional and clearly explained.
